Ascribing Lies Verbally or in Writing or by Making a Sign

Issue No. 1354- If a person, who is fasting, intentionally ascribes false information to Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) and his infallible vicegerents (as), verbally or in writing or by making a sign, his fast becomes void, as an obligatory precaution, even if he may repent for it right away. The same ruling also applies to imputing lies to all the other prophets and to Lady Fatima (as).

Issue No. 1354- If a person, who is observing fast, intentionally ascribes something false to Allah and the Prophet (pbuh) and his vicegerent (a.s.), verbally or in writing or by making a sign, his fast becomes void , as an obligatory precaution, even if he may at once repent for it. The same ruling also applies to imputing lies to all the other prophets and to Fatima Zahra (a.s.).

Issue No. 1356- If a person quotes something as the word of Allah or of the Holy Prophet with the belief that it is true, but realises later that it was untrue, his fast does not become void. But, on the contrary, if he ascribes something to Almighty Allah or the Holy Prophet (pbuh) knowing it to be false and understands later that it was true, his fast is void as an obligatory precaution.

Authentication of Reciting the Formula in Arabic

Issue No. 2166- The obligatory precaution is that the formula of khul‘ or mubārāt divorce should be pronounced in correct Arabic. However, if in order to give her property to her husband the woman says in English [for example]: "I will give you such and such property in return of the divorce" it is sufficient.

Issue No. 1088

Azan and Iqama and Surah and Qunut

Issue No.1088- Precautionary Prayers does not have Adhan, Iqamah, Surah and Qunut, and Surah al-Hamd should be recited silently, and the obligatory precaution is that its 'Bismillah' should also be pronounced silently. And one should not do any thing, between the original prayers and the Precautionary Prayers, which would invalidate the prayers.
