The Difference between Forcing Down the Throat of a Person Who Is Fasting and Compelling Him to Break His Fast
Issue No. 1396- If something is forced down the throat of a person who is fasting or his head is immersed in the water by force, his fast will not become void. However, if he is compelled to break his fast, for example if he is told that if he does not take food, he would be subjected to financial or physical harm, and he himself eats something to prevent that harm, the fast becomes void.
