Praying on a Place Which Is in Motion
Issue No.805- If the place on which a person offers prayer is in motion in such a way that he cannot perform the acts of prayer in a normal way, his prayer is void. Therefore, there is no harm in performing prayer in ship and train, etc. as long as one can perform the acts of prayer correctly. If it is inevitable for a person on account of shortage of time or for some other excuses, to offer prayer on a ship or car, etc., and the direction of the qiblah frequently changes, he should, as much as possible, keep his body towards the qiblah and while turning to the direction of the qiblah, he should not recite anything.
