Issue No.745- If a person has two sets of clothes, and knows that one of them is najis, but does not know which one, he is not allowed to perform prayer with either of them, and he should make both of them ṭāhir, and if he is not able to do so, he should offer two separate prayers with each of them.
Issue No.751- A prayer performer should not have with him parts of a dead body, even if they aren’t in clothing form. However, there is no problem in having parts which are not counted as the living parts like hair and wool. For example, one can perform prayer in some clothes made of hair and wool of a dead animal whose meat is halal.
Issue No.755- There is no harm in prayer if hair, sweat or saliva of a human is on the body or clothes of a person who offers prayer.
Issue No.756- If a person who is performing prayer has with him pearl or wax, there would be no problem in his prayer. However, the prayer will be void as an obligatory precaution if it is performed with a button made of shell which is taken from a haram meat animal.
Issue No.757- If a person doubts whether a piece of clothing is made of the wool, fur or hair of a halal meat animal or not, it is permissible to offer prayer with it, whether it has been made within the country or abroad.
Issue No.764- If a man does not know whether a piece of clothing is made of pure silk or something else, it is permissible for him to wear it and perform prayer in it.
Issue No.766- There is no problem in wearing clothes which are a mixture of silk and other material. However, if the other material is so little that it is not taken into consideration, it is [still] not permissible for men to wear it.
Issue No.765- It is not haram for men to have a silken handkerchief or anything similar in the pocket and it does not invalidate the prayer.
Issue No.767- There is no harm in wearing clothes which are usurped or made of pure silk or of dead body or are embroidered with gold when it becomes inevitable and urgent. And one can offer prayer with such clothes.
Issue No.768- If one has no other clothes but najis ones, ones made of gold or silk, carcass or of a haram meat animal, he should offer prayer with them. However, if he does not have any clothes other than a usurped one, and can offer prayer without clothes on, he should perform prayer in accordance with the rules prescribed for one who has no clothes.
Issue No.769- If a person does not have clothes with which prayer is permissible, it is obligatory for him to acquire, rent or purchase some, if possible. If someone presents or lends him clothes, and its acceptance does not entail hardship or any sense of obligation towards the individual, he should accept it.
Issue No.771- It is not allowed as an obligatory precaution to wear clothes which entail disgrace and degradation for a person or become a source of corruption.
