Issue No.1027- It is a highly recommended act to greet with Salām, and a great stress has been laid on this in the holy Qur’an and Islamic narrations. It is befitting that a riding person should greet one who is walking, and a person who is standing should greet one who is sitting, and a younger person should greet an elder.
Issue No.989- It is recommended that in the state of tashahhud, one should sit on his left thigh, placing the instep of the right foot on the sole of the left foot, and utter these phrases: “اَلْحَمْدُ لِلهِ” or “بِسْمِ اللّهِ وَ بِاللّهِ وَ الحَمْدُ لِلّهِ وَ خَيْرُ الاْسْماءِ لِلّهِ” before reciting tashahhud. It is also recommended to place one’s hands on the thighs, with joined fingers, and to look at the lap, and to say “وَ تَقَبَّلْ شَفْاعَتَهُ وَ ارْفَعْ دَرَجَتَهُ” after finishing the first tashahhud [1]. (O Allah please accept the intercession of the holy prophet (ṣ) and elevate his status)
Issue No.87- It is mustaḥab to urinate before sleep, before prayer and after ejaculation (after the discharge of semen).
Issue No. 1463- It is not permissible for a woman to observe recommended fast if the right of her husband is violated owing to the fast and as an obligatory precaution, she should not observe a recommended fast without his permission even if the right of the husband is not violated. Similarly, it is not permissible for a child to observe a recommended fast if it causes discomfort to his parents but it is not necessary for him to seek their permission.
Issue No. 2452- Muzaribah is limited partnership and it means that an individual or individuals invest their money and another individual or other individuals work with that capital and divide the proceeds in accordance with their agreement, and each will have his share of it.
Issue No. 2455- The type of Muzaribah which is conducted by banks with the money from individuals is permissible and the accrued profit is halal, provided that the foregoing Islamic conditions are observed and that it is not a mere bureaucracy.
Issue No. 2453- It is not obligatory for the invested capital to be coined gold and silver. In fact, Muzaribah will be in order with whatsoever property invested. It is not also a condition that the investment be made only in commercial or trade activities. Rather, it includes investment in productive enterprises (such as industry, agriculture and cattle-rearing and the likes).Hence, purchasing the shares of factories and benefiting from their interests are also in order.
Issue No.705- Ẓuhr and ‘aṣr nawāfil should not be offered when one is on a journey, and the obligatory precaution is not to offer ‘ishā’ nāfilah either. However, other daily nawāfil such as the fajr and maghrib nāfilahs and Night prayer still hold when one is on a journey.
Issue No.865- A person should offer prayers with the intention of qurbat, that is, complying with the orders of the Almighty Allah. It is not, however, necessary that he should utter the intention, or should make the intention pass through his mind in the beginning of the prayers. It is sufficient if he is asked what he is doing, he answers that he is offering prayers for Allah.
Issue No. 128- The alcoholic beverage called beer that is extracted from barley is haram and its najāsah is like that of wine. However, the drink extracted from barley for medicinal properties which is called ‘malt beverage’ and is not intoxicating at all is ṭāhir and halal.
Issue No. 102- The blood of the human being and every blood gushing animal is najis. However the blood of non-blood gushing animals like fish, snakes and mosquitos, is ṭāhir.
Issue No. 111-Dogs and pigs are najis, including their hair, paws, nails and any moisture they may have.
