One Who Is Certain That He Will not Find Water and Does not Look for Water

Issue No.619- If a person is sure that he cannot get water and does not, therefore, go in search of water and offers his prayer with tayammum, but realises after prayer that if he had made an effort he would have attained water, his prayer is void. Similarly, if after searching and not finding water, he made tayammum and offered his prayer then realized later that water was available at the place where he had searched, he should, as an obligatory precaution, make wuḍū and repeat the prayer and if the time of the prayer has elapsed, he should perform the qaḍā of the prayer.

Issue No.10- If a Mujtahid whom one follows dies, he may still follow him, and indeed if he is more learned than a living Mujtahid, it is obligatory to follow him in issues which the demised Mujtahid disagrees with others, provided that he has previously acted on his fatwā.

Issue No.20- It is forbidden for a non-jurist (one who is not capable of inferring Islamic laws from their sources) to issue fatwās and express his views on matters relating to Islamic laws. If he expresses his views without knowledge, he will be responsible for the actions of all those who act upon his views.

The Meaning of Mutlaq

Issue No.21- Water is either pure or mixed. Mixed water (Ma 'ul muzaf) means the water which is accompanied by a modifying word such as fruit juice, salt water, or rose water. Any water other than mixed water is called pure water (Ma'ul mutlaq).

What Is Kurr Water?

Issue No.23- Water which fills a container whose length, breadth and depth are three and half medium-sized spans each, is equal to kurr. It is also kurr if its weight is 384 kg (384 Litres).

Issue No.104-If the blood found in eggs is removed, the remaining is ṭāhir and halal. However, if it is mixed deliberately in a way that it disappears it is not permissible to eat it as an obligatory precaution.

Issue No.105- It is better to avoid the blood streak seen in milk when milking that disappears afterwards, although it is not deemed to be haram and najis.

Bleeding Gums

Issue No.106- The blood which comes from the gums or other parts of the mouth and gets mixed with the saliva and disappears in it is ṭāhir and in this case, it is permissible to swallow it.
