It is Mustaḥab to Encourage a Discerning Child to Perform Ada and Qaḍā Prayer

Issue No. 1204- It is mustaḥab that a discerning child, who can distinguish between good and bad, be made to form the habit of praying regularly, and to perform other acts of worship. Rather, it is mustaḥab that he should also be encouraged to offer lapsed prayers. (Of course, this should not be done in a way that makes him or her upset or causes aversion to prayer).

It is Mustaḥab to Wait for Congregational Prayer

Issue No. 1228- It is mustaḥab to wait for congregational prayer because congregational prayer is better compared to the prayer offered individually in the early part of prayer time; similarly, a short congregational prayer is better than a prolonged individual prayer.

Issue No. 1193Qaḍā Prayer

It is Obligatory to Perform Qaḍā Prayer

Issue No. 1193- A person who does not offer an obligatory prayer in the prescribed time, should offer qaḍā prayer though he may have been sleeping during the entire prayer time or may have failed to offer it owing to his having been ill or drunk. However, a person who has been unconscious during the entire prayer time, qaḍā is not obligatory upon him. Similarly, qaḍā is not obligatory on a non-Muslim who has embraced Islam and a woman who has had to leave out daily prayer, due to ḥayḍ or nifās.

Issue No. 1629Taxable Limit of Sheep

It is not Necessary to Pay the Zakat from the same Sheeps

Issue No. 1629- It is not necessary to give the zakāt from the same sheep. It is permissible if some other sheep are given. Also, it is permissible to give money equal to the price of the sheep, cows and camels, and if the animal is more useful for the recipient of zakāt, the obligatory precaution is to give him the animal.

Issue No. 1471Mustahb Fasts

It is not Obligatory to Complete a Mustahab Fast

Issue No. 1471- If a person observes a recommended fast, it is not obligatory on him to complete it, and he can terminate it at any time he wishes. In fact, if one of his brethren -in-faith invites him to a meal it is mustaḥab that he accepts the invitation and terminates the fast during the day.

Issue No. 1582Uses of Khums

It is not necessary to tell a Sayyid that this money is from Khums

Issue No. 1582- It is not necessary for a person to tell a sayyid that the amount he is giving is from khums dues. In fact, he can give it to him as a gift, but should make the intention of khums. The same goes for giving the share of the Imam (as) to the deserving people with the permission of the Mujtahid.

Issue No. 364Rules Regarding Janābah

Janābah Due to Sexual Intercourse

Issue No.364- If a person has sexual intercourse with a woman and the male organ enters up to the point of circumcision or more, both of them enter the state of janābah, regardless of whether they are mature or not and whether ejaculation takes place or not. This is the case with vaginal intercourse, as to anal intercourse, the obligatory precaution is to perform both ghusl and wuḍū.
