Issue No.1166- A traveller who intends to stay at a place for ten days can stay at a few places provided that their distance is so little and it may be said that he is not travelling (for example, one or two kilometres or more). There is no difference between small cities or big cities. That is to say, the same rule applies to both “great cities” and “small cities” with no difference between them.
Issue No.1167- If a traveller who wants to stay at a place for ten days, has decided at the very outset, to travel to the surrounding places during the period of ten days, and if the place he wants to go to is not so far to be reckoned as a part of the journey, he should offer complete prayer. However, if it is so far that it will be counted part of the journey; he should offer qaṣr prayer during the whole ten days.
Issue No.652- It is not necessary to determine whether the tayammum is substituting for ghusl or wuḍū and all that is necessary is that one has the intention of complying to God’s order. Even if he makes the intention of one instead of the other mistakenly it is still correct, if his intention is to fulfill his actual religious obligation.
Issue No.374- It is not necessary while performing ghusl, to make the intention of an obligatory ghusl nor a recommended one. It is sufficient if one performs the ghusl with the intention of qurbah (proximity to Allah (swt)) and complying with Allah’s order.
Issue No. 1727- If a person does not give zakāt of fiṭrah when it becomes obligatory, and does not set it aside either, he should give it later, on the basis of recommended precaution, with the intention of fulfilling what is due on him [i.e., without making the intention of adā or qaḍā].
Issue No.930- Bending should be with the intention of rukū‘. Therefore, if a person bows without this intention, he cannot count it as rukū‘. He will have to stand up and bow once again in rukū‘.
Issue No. 1216- A person who is hired to offer prayer or fast or any other acts of worship on behalf of a dead person, should specify the dead person while making the intention; it is not necessary that he know his/her name though. Hence, it is sufficient if he specifies him with a certain indication in his intention.
6- TalkingIssue No.1012- The sixth invalidator is intentionally talking, even to the extent of one sentence, or a word, or a two letter word (e.g., we), or even if the two letters have no meaning, the prayer will be void, as an obligatory precaution. (Precaution with regard to the invalidators means that one should complete the prayer and then offer it again).
Issue No. 1359- If a fasting person intentionally lies in quoting the religious rulings, for example, if he narrates an obligatory thing as a non-obligatory and a haram as a halal, and by this he intends to ascribe it to Almighty Allah or the Holy Prophet (pbuh), his fast is void as an obligatory precaution. However, if his intention is to ascribe the fatwā to a Mujtahid, then he has committed a haram act, but his fast is not void. The same ruling applies also to a person who quotes a doubtful ruling without knowing about it.
Issue No.633- If a person intentionally delays offering the prayer so much that no time is left for ghusl or wuḍū, he has committed a sin, but the prayer offered by him with tayammum will be valid, although the recommended precaution is to perform qaḍā of the prayer.
Issue No.529- One who performs ghusl on the dead body should perform this act with the intention of proximity to Allah and complying with His commands.
Issue No. 118- The hands and clothes of those who keep a dog in their house or eat pork are treated as ṭāhir as long as one is not certain that they are najis.
