Issue No. 2203- If during the year in which a person has been making an announcement (about the lost property which had been found), the property perishes, he is not responsible, unless he has been negligent or extravagant in looking after it.
Second: Having the intention of staying for ten daysIssue No.1164- If a traveller intends to stay at a place continuously for ten days, or knows that he will be obliged to stay at a place for ten days, he should offer complete prayer at that place.
Issue No. 1183- If a person who knows he is a traveller and should offer qaṣr prayer, intentionally offers complete prayer, his prayer is void. Also, if he forgets that he is a traveller or that a traveller should offer qaṣr prayer, and offers complete prayer he should repeat the prayer. However, if he never knew or heard that a traveller should offer qaṣr prayer, and he offered complete prayer, his prayer will be in order.
Issue No. 1177- If a traveller who has intended to stay at a place for ten days, but after the passing of ten days or offering a four rak‘at prayer, goes to a place which is less than four farsakhs and then returns he should perform complete prayer. If he wishes to go to a place which is less than eight farsakhs away and stay there for ten days, he should offer complete prayer on the way and also at that place. In case, however, the place he wants to go is eight farsakhs away or more, he should shorten his prayer on the way, and he should offer complete prayer where he intends to stay for ten days.
Issue No.480- If a woman who usually sees blood once in a month, sees blood twice in a month, if it has the signs of menses and the number of days during which she remained pure of blood are not less than ten, she should treat both the bloods to be ḥayḍ.
Issue No. 2121- A woman who suckles the brother of a person does not become maḥram to that person, although the recommended precaution is that she should not marry him.
Issue No. 2021- If it transpires later that the item borrowed is usurped, he should return it to its rightful owner, and if he does not know its owner, he should follow the rules for the properties whose owner is unknown. In any case, he is not allowed to give it to the lender.
Issue No. 1716- If a person gives fiṭrah to a person under the impression that he is poor and it transpires later that he was not poor and if the property, which he gave him, has not perished, he should take it back from him, and give it to a person who is entitled to receive fiṭrah. If he does not take it back from him, he should give fiṭrah out of his own property. In case, it has perished and the person who took the fiṭrah knew that what he had taken was fiṭrah he should give its substitute, and if he did not know, it is not obligatory on him to give substitute. In case however, the person who gave fiṭrah did not fail in investigating the situation of the poor person, he will not be under any obligation either.
Issue No.1862- If the time of commencement of a lease is not specified it commences after the recitation of the formula of lease or after taking possession of the property.
Issue No.1937- If the executor leaves a job incomplete, for instance, he looks for the lost property for a while and then gives up looking, he has no right to demand any wages. Similarly, if doing a part of the job is useful, like sewing part of a dress yet the wages fixed was for the completion of the work, he still would not be entitled to demand wages. However, if his intention was that he would receive wages for whatever amount he did, he should give the tailor the wages for the amount of work he has done.
Issue No. 1543- If halal property gets mixed with haram property, and the person concerned knows the quantity of the haram property, for example, he knows that one-third of it is haram but the owner of the one-third is unknown to him, as an obligatory precaution, he should spend the one-third for a cause that both khums and ṣadaqa should be spent in (e.g., poor sayyids).
Issue No. 2218- If an elephant, bear, monkey, rat and animals like snakes and lizards which live underground are among gushing-blood animals and die a natural death, they are najis. In case, however, they are slaughtered or hunted, they are ṭāhir.
