Issue No.875- If a person is dumb or there is some defect in his tongue on account of which he cannot pronounce Allahu Akbar, he should pronounce it in whatever manner he can pronounce it, and if he cannot say it at all, he should, as an obligatory precaution, make an indication and say it with the deaf and dumb language and also pass it through his mind.
Issue No.173- If a pig drinks liquid from a container, it must be washed seven times with water. It will not be necessary to scrub it with soil. Moreover, if a pig has licked a container or a field mouse has died in it, as an obligatory precaution, it must also be washed seven times.
Issue No.239- The faeces and urine of an animal which is accustomed to eating human excrement is najis and its meat is haram too, and in order to make it ṭāhir it must be fed with ṭāhir food until it is no longer called a faeces-eating animal. The following animals need to be prevented from eating human faeces for the following specified periods: - Camels for forty days; - Cows for thirty days; - Sheep for ten days; - Water fowl for five days; - Hens for three days.For other animals, it would be sufficient if they are no longer called faeces-eating animal.
Issue No.187- If something najis is placed in a container and water is poured on it three times with the container being emptied each time, both the najis object and the container become ṭāhir. And if it is something like clothes which needs to be squeezed, one must squeeze it and tilt the container so that the water empties out.
Issue No.874- A person should pronounce takbīr, al-fātiḥa, sūrah, and other words of prayer in such a manner that, if there was no impediment, at least he himself would hear it.
Issue No. 1526- It is obligatory to pay khums on everything which is extracted from the mines of gold, silver, lead, iron, copper, coal, oil, sulphur, turquoise, salt and any other mines and various metals. The obligatory precaution is that there is no taxable limit (niṣāb). khums therefore, should be paid from whatever quantity extracted from a mine, whether less or more.
Issue No.1962- Neither the transferor nor the creditor may revoke the transfer agreement. However, in case the person to whom the referral is made was poor at the time it was issued, and the creditor did not know this, the creditor can cancel the transfer. However, if he became poor later, or he was poor at first and the creditor knew it, the creditor cannot cancel the transfer.
Issue No. 2142- If a person has sexual intercourse with his wife who is pure from ḥayḍ or nifās, and then goes on a trip, and wishes to divorce her, but has no way of finding out whether she is pure or not, he should, as an obligatory precaution, wait for one month before he divorces her.
Issue No. 2173- The father and paternal grandfather of an insane person can divorce his wife if it is in his interest, but if the legal guardian of a minor has contracted a permanent marriage between him and a woman, he cannot, as an obligatory precaution, divorce her. However, if he has contracted a temporary marriage for him, he can exempt the woman from the remaining period provided that it is in his best interest.
Issue No.379- In order to ensure that all three parts of the body, i.e., the head and neck, the right side and the left side of the body, are washed thoroughly, one should, while washing a part, also include some portion of the other parts with it as a recommended precaution.
Issue No. 1070 - In order to inform the imam, the follower may tap his knee with his hand as many times as the rak‘ats of the prayer have been performed, or say Allahu Akbar, or inform him in any other way, which does not involve talking, or acts that invalidate prayer. However, he should not rise and continue the prayer before the imam.
Issue No.177- When it comes to washing large containers like cauldrons and crocks, they must be filled up and emptied three times, or, an easier way would be to pour water each time from above on all inner sides of it and every time, draw out the water collected at the bottom; it is necessary to rinse the bowl used for drawing out the water each time.
