Issue No.701- The daily nawāfil are as follow: Eight rak‘ats for ẓuhr prayer, eight rak‘ats for ‘aṣr prayer, four rak‘ats for maghrib prayer, two rak‘ats for ‘ishā’ prayer (offered in sitting posture), eleven rak‘ats of night prayer and two rak‘ats for fajr prayer and since the two rak‘ats of nāfilah for ‘ishā’ prayer are counted as one, the total number of the rak‘ats of these nawāfil is 34, but on Fridays the number of the rak‘ats of these nawāfil is 38 because four rak‘ats are added to the nāfilah of ẓuhr and ‘aṣr prayers. (All the recommended prayers are performed in two rak‘ats).

Issue No. 2115- There is no problem in a woman suckling the child of her son.

Issue No. 2219- If a dead young is born from a living animal or is brought out of it, its meat is haram.

Issue No.560- It is obligatory to perform prayer for the dead body of every Muslim who is mature [1] and also, as an obligatory precaution, for the dead body of a child who is not less than six years.

Issue No. 1174- If a traveller starts offering prayer with the intention of offering qaṣr prayer and then decides in the middle of the prayer that he would stay there for ten days or more, he should complete the prayer in four rak‘ats. On the contrary, if he, who has decided to stay at a place for ten days, changes his mind while offering a four rak‘at prayer and has not yet started the third rak‘at, he should complete the prayer with two rak‘ats and shorten his succeeding prayers. But if he has gone into the rukū‘ of the third rak‘at, his prayer is void, and he should shorten his prayer as long as he is there.

Issue No.1168- If a traveller has decided to stay at a place for ten days, but at the same time, considers it probable that he may have to leave earlier because of some reason, if then the probability is so low that it is ignored, he should offer complete prayer. In case however, the probability is high he should offer shortened prayer.

Issue No.832- It is not permissible, as an obligatory precaution, to decorate a mosque with gold and it should not be also decorated with the pictures of living creatures like human beings and animals as an obligatory precaution. However, there is no harm in decorating other places like the library of the mosque.

Issue No. 1508- If a person does not make any profit throughout the year, he cannot, as an obligatory precaution, deduct his expenditure for that year from the profit which he makes in the next year.

Issue No. 2038- If the man comes to know after marriage that his wife has one of the following seven defects, he can revoke the marriage:1- Insanity 2- Leprosy 3- Leucoderma 4- Blindness 5- Being crippled in a way that is evident.6- ‘Ifḍā’ means that the woman’s urinary and menstrual tract, or her menstrual passage and rectum have become one, and in general, the tear is in a way that sexual intercourse is not possible. 7- Presence of flesh, a bone, or a gland in the woman’s uterus, which may obstruct sexual intercourse.

Issue No. 2039- The woman can also revoke the marriage in the following cases:1- Insanity of the husband. 2- Having no male organ.3- Being incapable of having sexual intercourse.4- His testicles have been removed (details of this issue and the previous one can be found in detailed books of Jurisprudence).

Issue No.2413- If there is fear that through the expansion of political, economical and commercial influence, the enemies might dominate Islamic countries, it is incumbent on all Muslims to stop their influence and prevent their agents. Also in establishing political relationship with non-Muslim countries, it is necessary that it should be in a manner that it would not result in the weakness and incapability of Muslims, or their captivity at the hand of enemies, nor should it result in economic and trade dependency.

Issue No.2412- If Muslims fear that the enemies have plotted to conquer the Muslim countries directly, or indirectly through their agents inside or outside of the Islamic territory, it is obligatory upon all mature [1] persons to stand up against them and use every available means to defend Muslim countries.
