Constructing Garden in Order to Use its Fruits

Issue No. 1493- If a person establishes a garden with the intention of selling it after its price goes up, and if it is the time of selling it, he should pay khums on it. However, if his intention is to benefit from its fruits, he should pay khums on the fruits [at the end of the khums year if exceeds his expenses], and pay khums on the garden itself when he sells it.

Issue No.154- First: Eating and drinking najis objects is haram, and it is also haram to feed children original najāsah such as intoxicants. Moreover, as an obligatory precaution, one must avoid feeding children najis food. However, it is not necessary to stop a child who makes his food najis with najis hands.

Contents of the Sermons

J) Each sermon should include the following: 1. Praise of Allah (swt).2. Sending peace and blessings upon the Holy Prophet and his Household.3. Exhorting the people to observe piety. 4. Reciting a short sūrah from the Holy Qur’an in each sermon, like, “al-Ikhlāṣ”, “al-Kāfirūn” or “al-‘Aṣr”, as an obligatory precaution. 5. Seeking forgiveness for the believers as well as for himself as obligatory precaution. In the second sermon, while sending peace and blessings upon the holy Prophet and the Infallible Imams (as), the names of infallible Imams (as) should be mentioned one by one. Therefore, the first sermon consists of five parts and the second one consists of six parts. The prayer leader should recite the sermons while standing and he should sit down for a little while in between the two sermons. His voice should be loud enough to reach the audience. Furthermore, exhortation and guidance should be in a language understandable to the audience.

Contiguity of Something Wet with a Najis Object

Issue No.146- If the ground, clothes, etc., are wet and a najis object comes in contact with a part of them, only that part becomes najis and the rest is ṭāhir unless the wetness is so much that it spreads to another part. The same applies to cucumbers, melons, yoghurt, etc.; if the wetness in them is not much and does not permeate, then only the part that comes in contact with najāsah becomes najis.
