Waqf for Himself

Issue No. 2313- If a person endows something for himself, for example, if he endows a property so that its income may be spent for him or it is spent for the construction of his tomb after his death, the endowment is not in order. However, if he makes a school or a farm for students, and if he himself is a student, he can benefit, like other students from the profit which accrues to the endowment.

Issue No. 2312- If some property is endowed for a child who is in his mother's womb, it is not in order. However, to endow a property for those some of whom are born and some are not born yet (for example if a person endows a property for his children and the succeeding generations), the endowment is in order, and those who will be born will benefit from the waqf.

Wars Whose battlefield Is Very vast

Issue No.605- In modern wars in which the battlefields are vast, sometimes extending up to several miles, and enemy bullets and suchlike are reaching an immense distance, all of those areas where soldiers gather are considered as the battlefield. However, if the enemy kills people by bombarding them away from the war fronts, the abovementioned rules will not apply to them.

Washing Najis Objects under Tap Water

Issue No.195- Tap water which is connected to kurr water is treated as kurr and flowing water. Therefore, any najis object washed with it becomes ṭāhir once the original najāsah is removed.

Issue No. 267Washing the Hands

Washing the Hands before Wuḍū

Issue No.267- The hands are usually washed up to the wrist before wuḍū but it is not sufficient for wuḍū. So after washing the face, one must wash the entire arm and if he washes it down only to the wrist, the wuḍū is void.
