Issue No.807- In places where one is not sure whether he can finish his prayer or not due to the possibility of strong wind, rain, or the pushing of a crowd, etc., if he starts his prayer with the hope of being able to finish it and does not face any obstacles, his prayer is correct.
Issue No.808- One should not perform prayer anywhere that it is haram to stay, (e.g., under a roof which is about to collapse, or at a place where there is the danger of landslide or flood), and in case he offers his prayer there, he should, as an obligatory precaution, repeat his prayer. Also, it is not permissible to offer prayer on an object upon which it is haram to step or sit, like a carpet with the name of Allah on it.
Issue No.814- As an obligatory precaution, one cannot be alone with a non-maḥram in a place where no one can enter. Prayer in such a place is void as well, as an obligatory precaution. The same rule applies to performing prayer in a sinful gathering, like where people drink alcoholic beverages, gamble, or engage in backbiting.
Issue No.815- Obligatory prayers should not be offered in the Holy Ka‘bah as an obligatory precaution. However, there is no problem in performing mustaḥab prayer in the Ka‘bah. In fact, it is recommended that two rak‘ats should be offered before every corner within the Holy House. However, prayer, obligatory or mustaḥab, on the roof of the, Ka‘bah is void as an obligatory precaution.
Issue No.818- Performing prayer in the shrines of the holy Imams (as) is mustaḥab. It has been narrated that offering prayer in the sacred shrine of Amir al-Mu’minīn Imam Ali (as) is equal to 200,000 prayers .
Issue No.819- It is mustaḥab to go to a mosque in which no one performs prayer. And it is better for those who live in the neighbourhood of a mosque to not pray anywhere other than the mosque, unless they have a proper excuse.
Issue No.834- Building a mosque is mustaḥab and it is better that the mosque is located in a more suitable and better place so that more Muslims may use it. Repairing a mosque is mustaḥab too and it is considered as one of the best acts. And if a mosque is in a way that cannot be repaired at all, it can be demolished entirely and rebuilt.
Issue No.835- If a mosque can be used yet it needs to be expanded, it is permissible to demolish it and build a better and larger one.
Issue No.837- It is mustaḥab that when a person enters a mosque, to offer a two rak‘at prayer in order to greet and respect the mosque, but it will suffice if he offers any obligatory or mustaḥab prayer.
Issue No.839- Taking children and insane persons to the mosque is makrūh. However, if taking children does not cause any disturbance rather it encourages them towards prayer and going to the mosque then it is mustaḥab or even obligatory at times.
Issue No.840- It is disliked for a person to enter a mosque if he has consumed onion or garlic, whose bad smell is a source of discomfort to others.
Issue No.842- Adhān consists of eighteen parts, and they are as follow:اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ (four times)(Allah is greater than any des c r i p tion)اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لا اِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ (two times)(I testify that there is no god but Allah)اَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً رَسُولُ اللهِ (two times)(I testify that Muhammad is Allah’s Messenger)حَىَّ عَلَي الصَّلاةِ (two times)(Hasten to prayer)حَىَّ عَلَي الْفَلاحِ (two times)(Hasten to success and prosperity)حَىَّ عَلي خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ (two times)(Hasten to the best acts which is prayer)اَللهُ اَکْبَرُ (two times)(Allah is greater than any des c r i p tion)لا اِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ (two times)(There is no god but Allah) As for iqāmah, it consists of seventeen parts like adhān, except that in iqāmah, Allahu Akbar is reduced, in the beginning to twice, and at the end " لا اِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ " to once, and after " حَىَّ عَلي خَيْرِ الْعَمَلِ ", " قَدْ قامَتِ الصَّلاةُ" (i.e., Prayer is certainly beginning) must be pronounced twice.
