Selling or Lending Something Najis

Issue No.155- There is no problem in selling or lending a najis object and there is no need to inform the recipient about it. However, in the case that one knows the recipient is going to use it for eating or for prayer and the like, it would be necessary, as an obligatory precaution, to inform him about it. Similarly, if a borrowed objet becomes najis, the borrower should inform the lender under the aforementioned circumstances when returning it.

Issue No.162- If a page of the holy Qur'an, supplication or a paper on which the names of Allah Almighty, the holy prophet (ṣ) or the holy Imams (as) are written, falls in a najis place, it is obligatory to take it out and make it ṭāhir immediately even if it entails some expense. In the case of it not being possible to take it out and it has fallen into a lavatory, the use of that lavatory must be discontinued until one is certain that the page has disintegrated or the script has faded away as an obligatory precaution.

Issue No.175- If a jar made of najis clay, or a jar in which najis water has permeated into, is placed in kurr or flowing water, and water enters into its entire structure and exits, it will become ṭāhir. However, if water does not penetrate into it, its exterior will only be ṭāhir. The exterior can also be made ṭāhir with less than kurr water.

Issue No.179- If an earthen oven (for baking bread) has become najis, when water is poured into it once from above, in a manner that it reaches all its sides it becomes ṭāhir. But if it has become najis with urine, it is necessary to rinse it twice and it is better to dig a pit at the bottom and draw out the water that collects there then fill the pit with ṭāhir soil.

Issue No.185- If the exterior of wheat, rice, soap, etc., becomes najis, it will become ṭāhir by immersion in kurr or flowing water or by holding it under tap water. However, if their interior becomes najis, they should be kept in water enough that one becomes sure that water has penetrated in them and flowed out.

How to Make Najis Meat or Fat Ṭāhir

Issue No.194- Meat or fat which becomes najis can be made ṭāhir by rinsing. The same ruling applies to the body or clothes that may have a little grease on them which does not prevent water from reaching the body or the clothes. However, if it prevents water from reaching the body, it must be removed first.
