Issue No. 1605- If a crop is irrigated with rain or a creek, and does not stand in need of well water but it is also irrigated with that, and the well water is not helpful in increasing the production, the zakāt on it is 10%. If it is irrigated with well water and does not stand in need of the water of a creek or rainwater but is also irrigated with it and that water is not helpful in increasing the production, the zakāt on it is 5%.
Issue No. 1642- The obligatory precaution is that a poor and destitute person should not take zakāt more than his expenses and those whose maintenance is obligatory on him. In case he has deficit for the expenses he should only receive enough zakāt to compensate the deficit for a year.
Issue No. 2263- If a cow, sheep or camel is penetrated by a human being, aside from the meat becoming haram, its urine and excrement will also be najis as an obligatory precaution, and it is haram to drink its milk too. Such an animal should be slaughtered and its body burnt and he who has had penetrated the animal should pay its price to its owner.
Issue No.486- The obligatory precaution in nifās blood is that the creation of the baby should be complete. Therefore, if a clot is discharged from the womb, and the mother feels that if it had remained in the womb, it would have grown into a baby, she should perform the acts that a woman who is pure from blood does, and also abandon the acts that a ḥā’iḍ abandons [1] .
Issue No.1986- The bail agreement can be pronounced in words, for example, if the bailsman says to the creditor, “I guarantee to turn in the debtor in person as and when demanded by you”, and the creditor also accepts it, or they act in a way that implies the above meaning, whether it is through signing a document or any other way, the kafālah (bail agreement) will be in order.
Issue No.1991- If the bailsman proceeded the agreement with the permission of the person in debt while the guarantor has repaid the debt to the creditor, he has the right to take it from the debtor, but if it was not with the consent of the debtor, he has no right to do so.
Issue No. 2150- The time of the ‘iddah of divorce commences when the formula of divorce is pronounced, irrespective of whether the wife knows about it or not. Even if after the period of ‘iddah is over, she comes to know that she had been divorced, it will not be necessary for her to observe ‘iddah again.
Issue No.1126- The beginning of eight farsakhs should be calculated from the last location of residence in the city [of departure].
Issue No. 2126- There is no one better and worthier than a child’s mother to suckle him, and it is better that she does not claim any wages from her husband for suckling the child. However, she is entitled to do so, and if the mother demands more wages as compared with a wet nurse, her husband can entrust his child to the wet nurse.
Issue No.970- Earth, especially the one taken from the land of Karbala, [which reminds us of the blood of the martyrs of Karbala], is the best thing for performing sajdah on.
Issue No.1868- It is recommended that a person’s wages be given to him before his perspiration dries. However, if the worker himself does not want to take his wage and he wants, for example, to be paid monthly, there would be no problem.
Issue No.1931- The task for which the declaration is made by the rewarder should not be haram, and it should also bear a rational result. Hence, if he declares that he will give such an amount to a person who drinks alcohol, or traverses a dark passage at night without any sensible purpose, the agreement will not be in order.
