Issue No.390- We said earlier that the perspiration of a person who is in a state of janābah due to a haram act is not najis, and such a person may perform ghusl with warm water. However, it would be better to do it with tepid water so that he may not perspire.
Issue No.610- One cannot offer prayer with the ghusl performed with the intention of rajā’. Rather, he should also, as an obligatory precaution, perform wuḍū. However, it is permissible to offer prayer with ghusls that are proved definitely to be mustaḥab such as Friday ghusl.
Issue No.611- One ghusl with the intention of performing all will suffice if one wants to perform a number of mustaḥab ghusls, or a number of ghusls, some of which are mustaḥab and some obligatory, or when all are obligatory [on him].
Issue No.508- A Muslim who is dying, whether a man or a woman, old or young, should, as an obligatory precaution, be laid on his/her back, in such a manner that the soles of the feet face the Qibla. And if it is not possible for him to be laid completely in the said manner, they should, as an obligatory precaution, act upon this instruction to the extent possible. However, if this is not possible, he should be seated facing the Qibla, and if this is not possible either, he should be laid on either his right or left side with his front towards the Qibla.
Issue No.510- It is recommended that the Shahadatayn[1] and the acknowledgement of the twelve Imams and other principles of faith should be inculcated to a dying person in way that he understands it. It is also recommended that these things be repeated until the time of death.
Issue No.518- If a person begins performing the abovementioned acts, it is not obligatory for others to participate in them. However, if that person leaves the work half done, others must complete them. And if a person is in doubt whether someone has undertaken the obligations to a dead person, he himself should undertake the responsibility and do them.
Issue No.519-If someone has performed the ghusl, shrouding, death prayer and burial but we are not sure whether or not they have been done correctly, it should be assumed that they been done correctly. However, if we are sure that they have been done incorrectly, we must do them again.
Issue No.544- The obligatory quantity of shroud and the expenses of other obligatory things like ghusl, camphorating and burial should be financed from the estate (his property) and it is not necessary that he should have specified it in his will, and if the deceased has no estate, it should be taken from the baytulmāl.
Issue No.556- As a measure of obligatory precaution, perfumes like musk, ambergris and other perfumes should not be applied to the dead body and should not also be mixed with camphor when camphorating.
Issue No.568- It is makrūh to perform prayer on a dead body a number of times. Rather it is not permissible as an obligatory precaution for to offer the prayer several times. However, if the dead person was a learned and pious one, it is not makrūh to do so.
Issue No.574- It is obligatory to bury a dead body in the ground, deep enough that its smell does not come out and wild animals do not dig it out. However, if there is a danger of such animals digging it out, then the grave should be reinforced with bricks, etc.
Issue No.602- It is not permissible to delay the burial of a dead body if it results in its disrespect and desecration.
