Issue No. 2184- If a person damages a utensil or any other thing which he has usurped, he should return it to its owner in addition to the difference between the value of the sound property and the damaged one. And if with the aim of not paying the difference, he says that he is ready to make it like the original one, the owner is not obliged to accept the offer. Also, the owner cannot compel him to make it like the original one; he can only demand the difference between the value [of the sound property and the impaired one].

Issue No. 1557- If Muslims fight against the unbelievers in compliance with the orders of the Holy infallible Imam (as), khums should be paid on what is acquired from the enemy after deducting the expenses of safe custody, transport, etc., of that property.

Issue No.1979- The person for whom one stands surety should be a debtor at that time. Therefore, if someone is going to take a loan from someone else, one cannot stand as a guarantor unless the loan already has been taken. However, there is no harm if one says to a person, “Employ that staff member or worker, and if he does anything wrong or commits an act of treachery, I will be responsible”, this sort of surety is also valid.

Issue No.1984- If a person guarantees the payment of the debt of a person, without obtaining his permission, he (the guarantor) cannot demand anything from the debtor, but if it has been with his permission, he can demand it from him after the payment of the debt to the creditor.

Issue No.1874- If a person takes an animal on hire for transporting fragile goods, and if the animal slips or stampedes and the load is broken, the owner of the animal is not responsible. However, if the owner beats the animal or leads it on an unsafe road, etc., and the animal falls and breaks the goods he (the owner of the animal) is responsible. This rule also applies to a vehicle which is turned over, and its load is destroyed, if it is due to his negligence or his failure, he is responsible for the loss. But if the vehicle is faultless and it breaks down and turns over due to some reason as a result of which the load is destroyed, he is not responsible.

Issue No. 1239- If a person standing behind a pillar is linked to the imam by means of another follower from either side, it will be sufficient.

Issue No.940- It is obligatory to stand straight after the completion of rukū‘, and after the body has become still, one should go to sajdah. And if one abandons this intentionally, his prayer will be void, but if it is abandoned unintentionally there will be no problem in it.

Issue No.883- At the time of standing, if a person stands on one foot, his prayer will be void as an obligatory precaution, but it is not necessary that the weight of his body should be on both the feet equally.

Issue No. 2103- If a man marries a woman and someone claims later that she had a husband, but the woman herself says she did not, and if it is not also proved to be true according to Islamic laws, one should accept her word. However, if a reliable person confirms that she indeed did have a husband, she should, as an obligatory precaution, be divorced.

Issue No. 1175- If a traveller who has decided to stay at a place for ten days, stays there for more than ten days, he should offer complete prayer as long as he does not start travelling, and it is not necessary that he makes a new intention for staying for a further ten days.

Issue No.873- It is necessary that when a person pronounces the takbīrat-ul-iḥrām, his body be still and for instance, if he, while taking a step, pronounces takbīrat-ul-iḥrām , it will not be valid. However, if he utters it in this situation inadvertently, he should, as an obligatory precaution, do something that makes the prayer void (for example, he should turn his face away from the direction of qiblah) and then recite the takbīr once again.

Issue No.932- The body should be still while reciting the obligatory dhikr, and if the recommended dhikr is being recited with the intention of dhikr of rukū‘, the body should be still as well.
