Issue No. 1274- The follower should recite all the things of the prayers himself, except sūrah al-fātiḥa and the other sūrah; that is, when he joins the congregational prayers while the imam is reciting in the first rak‘at. However, if the first or second rak‘at of the follower is the third or fourth rak‘at of the imam, he should recite sūrah al-fātiḥa and the other sūrah.
Issue No. 1276- If a follower vaguely hears the imam’s sūrah al-fātiḥa and other sūrah, or hears a voice and does not know whether it is the voice of the imam or of someone else, the obligatory precaution is that he should not recite sūrah al-fātiḥa and the other sūrah.
Issue No. 1289- It is not necessary to specify as to which occurrence he is offering the āyāt Prayer; rather, if one makes the intention for offering the prayer which is obligatory on him, it will suffice.
Issue No. 1293- If one comes to know about the eclipse after the eclipse is over, he should perform its qaḍā if it was a total eclipse. In case it was partial, qaḍā will not be obligatory.
Issue No. 1294- If a person is informed about a lunar or solar eclipse but did not become certain about it and therefore did not offer the āyāt Prayer, however it transpires later that what was said was true, he should offer āyāt Prayer if it was a total eclipse, otherwise, it is not obligatory upon him to offer the prayer.
Issue No. 1300- It is permissible for one to perform the first rak‘at in accordance with the first method and the second rak‘at observing the second method.
Issue No. 1305- Every rukū‘ of āyāt Prayer is a foundational element (rukn), and if any addition or omission takes place in the number of them intentionally or inadvertently, the prayer will be void.
Issue No. 1311- If a person doubts as to how many takbīrs or qunūts of the Eid Prayer he has performed, and if he has not yet passed its place, he should select the lesser number, and there is no harm if it transpires later that he had performed it.
Issue No. 1318- It is sufficient that a person makes an intention every night of the holy month of Ramadan that he would be fasting on the following day; in addition, it is better to make an intention on the first night of the Holy month of Ramadan that he would fast throughout that month.
Issue No. 1320- Regarding the recommended fast, the time for making intention to observe the fast continues throughout the day and it is possible to make an intention of fasting even moments before maghrib provided that one has not committed any act which invalidates the fast.
Issue No. 1322- It is necessary to specify when one wants to fast in other than the month of Ramadan. For example, he should specify it as a qaḍā fast or a fast to fulfil a vow (nadhr). But in the holy month of Ramadan it would be sufficient if he intends to fast the following day. Rather if he does not know that it is Ramadan or he knows but he has forgotten it and he makes the intention of another fast, it will be counted as the fast of the month of Ramadan. However, if he knows that it is the month of Ramadan, yet he intentionally makes the intention of fasting other than the fast of the month of Ramadan, his fast will not be considered as the fast of the month of Ramadan, nor will it be counted as the fast for which he had made intention.
Issue No. 1325- If a person did not know or forgot that it was the month of Ramadan, and did not observe a fast and takes notice of this after ẓuhr or before ẓuhr while he has done some act which invalidates fast, he should, as a sign of respect for the month of Ramadan, not perform any invalidator till maghrib, and should also perform that fast as qaḍā after the month of Ramadan.
