Issue No.999- It is recommended that one should recite qunūt slightly louder. However, if a person is offering prayer in congregation he should not recite qunūt in a way that the imam leading the prayer is able to hear him.
Issue No.898- It is obligatory to recite sūrah al-fātiḥa before the sūrah, and if a person recites it intentionally after the sūrah, his prayer will be void, but if he recites it after the sūrah by mistake, and he realises his mistake before going to rukū‘, he should recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah properly again, and in case he realises it after going to rukū‘, his prayer will be correct. Similarly, if one forgets to recite either al-fātiḥa or the sūrah or both of them after reaching rukū‘, his prayer will be valid.
Issue No.902- It is recommended that in the first rak‘at of ẓuhr prayer on Friday, one should recite sūrah al-Jumu’ah after al-fātiḥa, and in the second rak‘at, to recite sūrah al-Munafiqun; once a person begins one of these sūrahs he is not allowed, as an obligatory precaution, to abandon it and recite another sūrah instead.
Issue No.571- A person offering the prayer for the dead individual should recite the takbīrs and supplications consecutively, so that the prayer does not lose its form and, as an obligatory precaution, one should not talk to anyone while performing the prayer.
Issue No.896- One should recite sūrah al-fātiḥa in the first and second rak‘ats of the daily obligatory prayers after takbīrat-ul-iḥrām, and thereafter one should recite, as an obligatory precaution, a complete sūrah of the Holy Qur’an. It should be noted that sūrah al-Fīl and sūrah Quraysh are treated to be one sūrah, and similarly sūrahs al-Ḍuḥā and al-Inshirāḥ.
Issue No.900- There is no problem in reciting the sūrahs which contain verses of obligatory sajdah in recommended prayers, and one should perform an immediate sajdah upon reciting the verse, then he should stand up and continue the prayer.
Issue No.899- If a person intentionally recites one of the four sūrahs which contain verses of obligatory sajdah [1] in the prayer, he should, as an obligatory precaution, perform a sajdah instantly upon reciting the verse, then he should stand up and recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah and finish the prayer, and then repeat the whole prayer. In case it occurs unintentionally and he realises this before reaching the verse of sajdah, he should abandon that sūrah and recite another sūrah. However, if he realises this after he has recited more than half of the sūrah, he should, as an obligatory precaution, repeat the prayer, and if he realises after reciting the verse of obligatory sajdah, he should act as per the above-mentioned instruction (the case of reciting intentionally).
Issue No.907- Where a person should recite al-fātiḥa and sūrah loudly, if he intentionally recites a word in whispering manner, his prayer is void and similarly where he should recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah in whispering manner, if he intentionally recites a word loudly, his prayer is void.
Issue No.906- It is obligatory for men to recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah loudly, while offering fajr, maghrib and ‘ishā’ prayers, and it is obligatory for men and women to recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah in a whispering manner while offering ẓuhr and ‘aṣr prayers. A woman can recite al-fātiḥa and the sūrah in fajr, maghrib and ‘ishā’ prayers loudly or in a whispering manner. But, if a non-maḥram hears her voice, she should, as a recommended precaution, recite them in a whispering manner.
Issue No. 1302- It is mustaḥab that one should say “سَمِعَ اللهُ لِمَنْ حَمِدَهُ” and “اللهُ اَکْبَرُ” in each rak‘at before going into sajdah, and it is also mustaḥab to say takbīr before and after each rukū‘.
Issue No.851- If a person recites the phrases of adhān or iqāmah without proper order, like if he says " اَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّداً رَسُولُ اللهِ " before " اَشْهَدُ اَنْ لا اِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ "; he should repeat from the place where the order has been disturbed.
Issue No.908- If a person intentionally offers the prayer loudly, which should be offered in a whispering manner, and vice versa, his prayer is void. In case, however, he does so owing to forgetfulness or not knowing the rule his prayer is correct, unless he has come short in learning his obligation; therefore, as an obligatory precaution, one should offer the prayer again.
