Issue No. 2331Person's Duty When Observing the Signs of Death

One Should Inform the Heirs the Place of His Concealing Properties

Issue No. 2331- If a person who observes signs of death in himself has deposited some property with some other person or has concealed it in a place of which his heirs are not aware, and if owing to the ignorance of the heirs their right is lost, he should inform them about it. And if he has minor children and it is possible that their property may perish or they themselves may be lost without a legal guardian, he should appoint an honest guardian for them.

Issue No. 1086Miscellaneous Issues regarding Doubts

One Who Becomes Incapable of Standing for Iḥtīyāṭ Prayer

Issue No.1086- If a person, who normally offers prayer in standing posture becomes unable to stand while offering Precautionary prayer, he should follow the ruling of one who offers prayer in sitting posture, which was explained in the previous issue. On the contrary, if a person who offers prayer in a sitting posture becomes able to stand while offering Precautionary prayers, the ruling of one who offers prayer in standing posture will apply to him from thereon.

Issue No. 936Rukū‘ (Bowing)

One Who Cannot Bow Down for Rukū‘ Properly'

Issue No.936- If a person cannot bow down for rukū‘ properly, if possible, he should lean on something and perform rukū‘. And if it is not possible, he should bow down as much as he can. And if he cannot bow at all, he should perform rukū‘ in the sitting posture. And if he cannot do this either, he should stand and indicate with his head for rukū‘. And if this cannot be done either, he should close his eyes with the intention of performing rukū‘ and utter the dhikr and then open his eyes with the intention of rising from rukū‘.

One Who Cannot Remain in Rukū‘ to the Extent of Obligatory Dhikr

Issue No.937- If a person can perform rukū‘, but owing to a disease or other excuse he is not able to remain in rukū‘ to the extent of the obligatory dhikr, he should utter the obligatory dhikr before he exits the state of rukū‘, even though his body may not be still. And if that is not possible, he should finish the dhikr while rising from rukū‘.

Issue No. 395Conditions of Ghusl

One Who Does Not Intend to Pay the Owner of a Public Bath

Issue No.395- If a person who uses a public bath for ghusl with the intention of not paying its owner or deferring the payment without certainty of his consent, his ghusl will be void as an obligatory precaution. The same ruling applies if he intends to give him haram money or the money from which he has not paid due khums.

Issue No. 1179Staying for a Month Without Intention

One Who Does Not Know How Long He Will Stay

Third: Staying for a month without intentionIssue No. 1179- If a traveller stays at a place, and does not know how long he will stay there, he should offer qaṣr prayer. However, after passing thirty days even though he may stay there for a short period he should perform complete prayer. (If he stays at a place for a lunar month, which is less than thirty days, it will be sufficient e.g., one stays from the 10th of this month to the 10th of the next).

Issue No. 1355- If a person who is fasting wishes to quote something which he does not know whether it is true or false, he should give a reference of the person who reported it, or of the book in which it is written. For example, he should say that such and such narrator says so, or it has been written in such and such books that the Holy Prophet (pbuh) has said that...

Issue No. 1065One Who Doubts Too Much (Obsessive)

One Who Doubts Excessively about a Particular Act

Issue No. 1065 - If a person, who doubts excessively about a particular act of prayer, (for example, in sūrah al-fātiḥa and the following sūrah), doubts about other acts of prayer, he should act according to the rules of doubt. He should ignore the doubt about the act, about which he frequently doubts. In addition, if a person frequently doubts in a particular prayer like fajr prayer, he should only ignore the doubt in that prayer, or if a person frequently doubts in a particular place, for example, if he often doubts while offering prayer in a gathering of people, he should ignore his doubts only in that situation.
