Offering Prayer on a Usurped Vehicle

Issue No.796- If it is urgent for one to offer an obligatory prayer while riding, if the seat or saddle of what he is riding on is usurped, and he is not compelled to offer prayer on that same saddle, animal or vehicle, his prayer will be void as an obligatory precaution. The same rule applies if in a normal situation, he wishes to offer mustaḥab prayer while riding.

Offering Prayer with Ghusl

Issue No.401- One can perform his prayers with any ghusl and it is not necessary to make wuḍū, whether it is ghusl of janābah or another, and whether it is obligatory or a recommended ghusl whose recommendability has been established in Islamic tradition. However, as a recommended precaution, one should perform wuḍū for prayer after all ghusls except ghusl of janābah.

Issue No.659- If a person whose obligation is tayammum is sure or considers it probable that his excuse will continue until the end of the time prescribed for prayer, he can perform prayer with tayammum at the beginning of its time, but if he is sure that his excuse will cease to exist by the end of the time, he should wait, as an obligatory precaution.

Offering Qaḍā Prayers with Tayammum

Issue No.660- One whose obligation is to offer prayer with tayammum, can also perform qaḍā prayer with tayammum in that situation. However, if he is sure that his excuse will be removed soon, he should wait until then. Also, if he hopes that his excuse will be removed soon, he should, as an obligatory precaution, delay offering qaḍā prayer.

Offering Qaḍā Prayer in Congregation

Issue No. 1203- Qaḍā prayer can be offered in congregation, irrespective of whether the prayer of the imam is adā or qaḍā. However, as a recommended precaution, both of them should be offering the same prayer, for example, qaḍā of ẓuhr prayer be offered with the ẓuhr prayer and qaḍā of ‘aṣr prayer be offered with ‘aṣr prayer.

Offering Qaḍā for Prayers Offered with Tayammum

Issue No.668- There is no qaḍā necessary for the prayers which have been offered with tayammum. However in a few instances it is better that a person repeats the prayers which he has performed with tayammum:First: When no water was available or there was a problem in using water, and he intentionally made himself junub and offered the prayers with tayammum.Second: When a person did not go in search of water intentionally until the time for prayer became short and he performed the prayer with tayammum and realized later that if he had made a search for water he would have been able to obtain it.Third: When he disposed of water intentionally although he knew or thought that he would not be able to get water, and offered the prayers with tayammum.
